Blue Coast Networks is a privately owned company that provides technology solutions for small businesses in the Orlando and Tampa Bay areas.

Company President, Matt Schenk, has been sharpening and molding his IT skills for over 15 years. Matt began his IT career in high school when he started passing out business cards and going on computer repair house calls in his hometown of West Palm Beach, FL. He then moved to Orlando in 1997 and improved his onsite services by acquiring industry certifications such as CompTIA’s A+ / Network+ as well as Microsoft’s MCP / MCSA. Matt eventually landed a job in the enterprise environment as a Network Support Technician where he worked his way up to Network Administrator in less than 5 years, gaining a wealth of experience and technical expertise along the way. Popular among his clients for his patience, understanding, and professionalism, Matt has mastered the art of helping people feel comfortable and productive at their computers, whether in their home or at the office.

Vice President, Wes Gehres, met Matt Schenk during his freshman year at UCF, where Wes later went on to acquire a degree in M.I.S. (Management of Information Systems) and the Cisco CCNA certification. Wes also gained valuable experience in the enterprise world as an IT Manager and Network Administrator for several years before teaming up with Matt Schenk to form what is now officially Blue Coast Networks. Whether it’s securing a network, managing an IT project, or designing a clean, professional corporate website, Wes has the skills and expertise to get the job done. Wes currently manages all operations in the Tampa Bay area from the Blue Coast Networks St. Petersburg office. He is also the Blue Coast Networks webmaster and primary contact for any web services provided by Blue Coast Networks.
